DEATH: She's known to be alive until a least 1814 because the "The Mac Donald Genealogy and Descendents of Jesse Peter" page 18 by Frank Mac Donald Q 929.273, says that James helped his mother and brothers with their farm until he was 17 years old. Since James was born in 1797, that makes the year about 1814.
CENSUS: This is probably the Mary Mc Donald, head of household, in the 1810 Washington Co., KY, (page 9 in book) census in the 26-45 age range. Transcript titled, "Washington County Kentucky 1810-1840 Censuses" by Rowena Lawson (Heritage Books, Inc. 1986).
